Welcome to the land of my opinions, musings and recollections from my daily life. I am an elementary teacher living and working in two distinctly different neighborhoods of Oakland, CA. I am originally from Davis, CA and am a true product of the community in which I grew up. I have a great love for reading, running, wine, teaching, and all things sarcastic. Conversely, cats, Bible-thumping Republicans and fried food all slightly disgust me. Namaste.
